“Among them are those who pledged to Allah, ‘If He gives us of His bounty, we will surely give charity and be among the righteous.’ (75) But when He gave them of His bounty, they withheld it and turned away in aversion. (76) So He caused hypocrisy to follow in their hearts until the Day they meet Him, because they broke their promise to Allah and because they used to lie.” (77)

“Say, ‘Shall We tell you whose deeds bring the greatest loss? (103) Those whose efforts in the life of this world have gone astray, while they think they are doing good.’ (104) Those are the ones who disbelieve in their Lord’s signs and in the meeting with Him, so their deeds have come to nothing.”
