Ibn Abī 'Āsim said: “Abū Bakr narrated to us: Yahyā ibn Sa'īd and 'Īsā ibn Yūnus informed us, from Ismā'īl ibn Abī Khālid, from al-Sha'bī, who said, ‘Al-Samad is the One who does not eat food.’

Abū Mūsā narrated to us: Yahyā ibn Sa'īd narrated to us, from Ismā'īl, from al-Sha'bī, who said the same.
