Thawbān. He said, “These reports include the words, ‘He placed His hand between my shoulders.’”

The hadith master Abū al-Qāsim al-Tabarānī cited the hadiths of Ibn ‘Abbās and similar reports in his Book of the Sunnah, in the chapter on the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) seeing his Lord. He then cited the hadith, presenting first the version transmitted through Mu‘ādh, which is the most authentic and complete of them.
