‘Ikrimah, both of them transmitting from Ibn ‘Abbās, who said: ‘Muhammad saw his Lord.’” Some narrated it from al-Sha‘bī and ‘Ikrimah, both from Ibn ‘Abbās.

Ibn Khuzaymah said: “My paternal uncle narrated to us, saying: ‘Abd al-Razzāq narrated to us, saying: Isrā’īl informed us, from Simāk ibn Harb, from ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbās, who said concerning Allah’s words, ‘The heart did not lie about what it saw’ (11) [al-Najm 11]: ‘He saw Him with his heart.’”
