al-Rabīʿ, from ʿĀsim al-Ahwal, from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said, ‘Allah distinguished Abraham with His intimate friendship, Moses with His speech, and Muhammad with the vision of Him.’

Muhammad ibn Yahyā narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Sabbāh narrated to us, saying: Ismāʿīl—that is, Ibn Zakariyyā—narrated to us, from ʿĀsim, from al-Shaʿbī, from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said, ‘Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw his Lord.’
