As for those who discussed seeing Him in this world, ‘Ikrimah said, “He saw Him,” and al-Hasan said, “He saw Him.” Sa‘īd ibn Jubayr said, “I say neither that he saw Him nor that he did not see Him.” ‘Ā’ishah said, “Whoever claims that Muhammad saw his Lord has lied.”
