Sufyān. He then related the hadith in full and said: “I heard Muhammad ibn Maymūn say: ‘Sufyān was asked about the meaning of the words in Suhayl ibn Abī Sālih’s hadith, “You lead your people and take a quarter of the spoils.” He replied: “When a man was the chief of his people, he received the chief’s share, which was one quarter of the spoils.” He also said: “When ʿAdī ibn Hātim said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I follow a religion,’ the Prophet replied, ‘I know your religion better than you do. You consider the chief’s quarter-share lawful, although it is not lawful for you.’”’”
This hadith explicitly states that the disbelievers and hypocrites will meet Allah and that He will address them, as the Quran mentions in several places, and as is also reported
