‘Our Lord, we parted company with the people in this world when we needed them most, and we did not keep their company. We are waiting for our Lord, whom we used to worship.’ He will say, ‘I am your Lord.’ They will say, ‘We seek refuge in Allah from you! We associate nothing with Allah,’ repeating this twice or three times, so much so that some of them will almost turn away.

He will say, ‘Is there a sign between you and Him by which you will recognize Him?’ They will say, ‘Yes.’ Then He will uncover a shin. Everyone who used to prostrate to Allah of his own accord will be permitted by Allah to prostrate. But everyone who used to prostrate out of fear and for show will have his back made by Allah into one solid piece: whenever he tries to prostrate, he will fall flat on his back. Then they will raise their heads, and He will have changed to the form in which they saw Him the first time.
