and the Bātiniyyah, such as Allah’s coming, seeing Him, the Bridge, the emergence from the Fire of those guilty of major sins, and other matters pertaining to belief in Allah and the Last Day which are denied by the Jahmiyyah, the Kharijites, and those who follow these two groups, including the Muʿtazilah and others like them.

The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would recount this repeatedly, as would his Companions after him. This is explicitly stated in the hadith of Ibn Masʿūd, which we shall mention, Allah Most High willing. This will bring to light valuable insights and answer certain difficulties, as we shall explain, Allah Most High willing.
