As for the knowledge inherited from our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, we may cite what the People of the Book possess to corroborate it, as Allah Most High says:
“Say, ‘Allah is sufficient as a witness between me and you, as are those who possess knowledge of the Scripture.’” (43) [al-Ra'd 43]
Allah Most High also says:
“If you are in doubt about what We have sent down to you, ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. (94) And never be among those who deny Allah’s signs, lest you become one of the losers.” (95) [Yūnus 94–95]
Allah Most High also says:
“Say, ‘Have you considered: if it is from Allah and you disbelieve in it, while a witness from the Children of Israel has testified to the like of it’” [al-Ahqāf 10]
Allah Most High also says:
“Indeed, it is in the scriptures of the former peoples. (196) Is it not a sign for them that the scholars of the Children of Israel know it?” (197) [al-Shu'arā' 196–197]
Allah Most High also says:
“Then should I seek a judge other than Allah, when it is He who has sent down to you the Book, fully explained? Those to whom We gave the Scripture know that it has been sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters.” (114) [al-An'ām 114]
Allah Most High also says:
“Those to whom We gave the Scripture recognize him as they recognize their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls will not believe.” (20) [al-An'ām 20]
Allah Most High also says:
“Those to whom We gave the Scripture rejoice in what has been sent down to you, while among the factions are those who deny part of it.” [al-Ra'd 36]
It is also established in the Sahīh that when Tamīm informed the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,
