Ishāq said: Jarīr narrated to us, from al-A‘mash, from Habīb ibn Abī Thābit, from ‘Atā’, from Ibn ‘Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Do not revile the face, for Allah created Adam in the image of the Most Merciful.”

Thus, Ishāq authenticated Ibn ‘Umar’s hadith with its chain of transmission, contrary to what Ibn Khuzaymah stated.
