by al-‘Abbādī, the jurist, that he listed the jurists and mentioned an issue on which each held a unique view. He mentioned Imam Ibn Khuzayma, stating that he was alone in his interpretation of this hadith: “Allah created Adam in his image.” However, I have heard several shaykhs report that this interpretation was forged and falsely attributed to Ibn Khuzayma—a lie fabricated against him.

We do not countenance this or similar interpretations, nor should they be given any consideration. Rather, we concur with and follow what the majority have agreed upon.
