And Ibn Khuzaymah narrated from Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “None of you should say to his slave, ‘May Allah make your face ugly, and the face of anyone whose face resembles yours,’ for Allah created Adam in his image.”

The response: Know that the pronoun “his” in the Prophet’s words (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), “in his image,” may refer to something other than Adam’s form and other than Allah Most High; it may also refer to Adam (peace be upon him);
