Nor did He ever reproach them for affirming the attributes, which the Jahmiyyah call likening Allah to His creation, or count this among their sins:

“And your Lord is never forgetful.” (64) [Maryam 64]

This is conclusive evidence that these attributes, in general, were revealed by Allah and are true, not something the Jews fabricated and invented. Rather, He censured them for concealing these and other truths, and for distorting words from their proper places. Indeed, many of them distort and conceal these matters more than the Jahmiyyah who profess Islam distort and conceal them.
