Al-Rāzī said:

“The ninth argument: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, ‘Majesty is My cloak, and greatness is My waist-wrapper.’ No rational person attributes a waist-wrapper and a cloak to Allah Most High.”

The response is: This hadith is recorded in the Sahīh. Muslim narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: ‘Greatness is My waist-wrapper, and majesty is My cloak. Whoever contends with Me for either, I shall punish him.’”
