Mujāhid, who said concerning the verse, “Your Lord may raise you to a station of praise” (79) [al-Isrā’ 79]: “He will seat him with Him on the Throne.” This should therefore be stated without qualification, as conveyed by the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. It is possible that this is a station reserved specifically for the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to be seated.

This is supported by what al-Aʿmash narrated from Abū Sālih, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Allah wrote a book with His own Hand before He created
