Bayān Talbīs al-JahmiyyaIbn Taimiya

Al-Rāzī said: “As for the Quran, this can be demonstrated in several ways. First, the Quran mentions a face, eyes, a single side, hands, and a single shin. If we took these at their apparent meaning, we would have to affirm a person with a face bearing many eyes, a single side, many hands, and a single shin. We see no person in this world more hideous in appearance than this imagined figure. Nor do I believe that any rational person would consider it fitting to describe his Lord in this way.”
