the philosophers and the speculative theologians of the religious communities. These are the weakest and least beneficial methods. The method of the speculative theologians is better, since through it they establish that the world has an originator. The philosophers, however, establish only something whose existence is necessary, without establishing that it is the Maker or Creator of the world.

Moreover, each of these two groups must employ a universal proposition in its method, such as their assertion that the world came into being, or that the world contains things that come into being, including substances, attributes, and the like
