claims that Allah can be heard but cannot be seen is mistaken in denying that his Lord can be seen and in rejecting His Book and the words of His Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

He said: It is narrated from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbbās that he said: “Reflect on Allah’s creation, but do not reflect on Allah, for the distance between His Footstool and heaven is a thousand years, and Allah, Almighty and Majestic, is above that.”

He said: The scholars also narrated that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “A servant’s feet will not move from before Allah until He has questioned him about three matters.”
