It is also reported that Muʿādh ibn Jabal said, “On the Day of Resurrection, people will be held on a single plain. Then a call will be made: ‘Where are the God-fearing?’ They will rise and stand under the protection of the Most Merciful, who will neither veil Himself nor conceal Himself from them.”

I asked, “Who are the God-fearing?” He replied, “People who avoided associating partners with Allah and worshipping idols, and devoted their worship sincerely to Allah alone. They will then proceed to Paradise.”
