will lift the veil, and they will look upon Him. Those who say that He is seen, but not in a direction, do not say that there is a veil between Him and creation, nor can they conceive of His being veiled from creation and lifting the veil. They have explicitly stated all this, saying that these are all attributes of a body occupying space. Thus, if the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, has spoken of this, it follows that He is seen in a direction. The vision of which he spoke is not the unintelligible thing they allege, by which they dissemble before the people of faith.
