Muslim as well, through al-Zuhrī, from Sa‘īd ibn al-Musayyab, from Abū Hurayrah, who said:

I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say:

“The people of Yemen have come, more tender in feeling and softer of heart. Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni. Tranquility is found among those who tend sheep, while pride and arrogance are found among the loud-voiced herdsmen who own camels, toward the rising sun.”

There is no doubt that apostasy and other forms of disbelief arose among these people, through “Musaylimah the Liar” and his followers, and “Tulayhah al-Asadī”
