Chapter Five: An Account of the Specious Rational Arguments for His Occupying a Particular Spatial Locus and Direction

Their first specious argument is that they say: The world exists, and the Creator exists. Any two existing things must either be spatially coincident or be separate from one another in one of the six directions. Since the Creator is not spatially coincident with the world, He, exalted is He, must be separate from the world in one of the six directions. Once this is established, He, exalted is He, must be situated in the direction above.
