they are gentler and more tender of heart. Faith is Yemeni, wisdom is Yemeni, and the source of disbelief lies toward the east.” In another version:

“Pride and arrogance are found among camel owners, while tranquility and dignity are found among those who tend sheep.”

Al-Bukhārī also recorded it through Abū al-Ghayth, from Abū Hurayrah, who related that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

“Faith is Yemeni, and tribulation is here—here, where the horn of Satan rises.”
