“I spoke with Bishr al-Marīsī and his followers, and found that their arguments ultimately led them to say, ‘There is nothing in heaven.’”

Imam Ahmad said: Shurayh ibn al-Nu‘mān narrated to us, saying: I heard ‘Abd Allāh ibn Nāfi‘ al-Sā’igh say: I heard Mālik ibn Anas say, “Allah is in heaven, and His knowledge is everywhere; no place is beyond His knowledge.”
