Al-Rāzī said:

“The sixth proof: If He, exalted is He, were located in a particular region of space or direction, He would be of the same nature as space-occupying entities. This is impossible; therefore, so is the supposition.

The necessary implication is explained as follows: If He, exalted is He, were located in a particular region of space, His occupying that region would mean that He prevents anything else from being where He is. If that were so, He would be a space-occupying entity. We have already shown in the preceding section that all space-occupying entities are identical in their entire essence.
