He said: “All of this indicates that He is not within His creation, nor is His creation within Him, and that He, glorified be He, is established upon His Throne. Exalted is He, far above what the wrongdoers say! Exalted is He above what is said by those whose descriptions affirm no reality for Him and whose words about Him do not establish His oneness. Their speech ultimately leads to the denial of His attributes, and all their descriptions, when interpreted, imply negation. They claim that by this they intend to affirm His transcendence and deny any resemblance to creation. We therefore seek refuge in Allah from an affirmation of transcendence that entails negation and the denial of His attributes.”
