—misguided and misleading—for he knew that when He revealed Himself to them on the Day of Resurrection, they would see what they had previously believed concerning Him, but which he had denied.

The Muslims asked, “O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?” The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, replied, “Do you have any difficulty seeing the sun when no clouds obscure it?”

They said, “No.”

He asked, “Do you have any difficulty seeing the moon when it is full and no clouds obscure it?”

They said, “No.”

He said, “You will see your Lord that Day just as clearly.”

The Messenger of Allah also said, “The Fire will not be filled until the Lord of Might places His Foot in it. Then it will say, ‘Enough! Enough!’ and shrink in upon itself.”
