He said: Hanbal also reported elsewhere that he said: “There is nothing like Him in His essence, as He has described Himself. He, Blessed and Exalted, has given a comprehensive description of Himself, thus defining a description for Himself: nothing resembles Him. Allah is therefore worshipped with His attributes, which are neither delimited nor known except through His own description of Himself. He, Exalted, said:
