Refutation of the Jahmiyyah.

Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Uways used to call them “the heretics of Iraq.” He was asked, “Have you heard anyone say that the Quran is created?” He replied, “Those heretics! By Allah, I fled to Yemen when Abū al-ʿAbbās said this in Baghdad, to escape such talk.”
