and that the fate of children rests with Allah: if He wills, He punishes them, and if He wills, He does with them whatever He wishes; that Allah knows what His servants will do and has written that it will come to pass; and that all affairs are in Allah’s hands.

They uphold patience with Allah’s decree, observing what Allah has commanded, refraining from what He has forbidden, sincerity in deeds, and sincere goodwill toward Muslims. Their religious practice is to worship Allah alongside His worshippers, to show sincere goodwill toward the Muslim community, and to avoid major sins, unlawful sexual intercourse, false speech, partisan zeal, arrogance, boasting, belittling others, and self-conceit.
