by His power, and that He intended only to affirm two Hands with which Adam, peace be upon him, was created—a distinction not shared by Iblīs, may Allah curse him.
He said: The words of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, “what I created with My two Hands” [Sād 75], must mean either affirming two hands understood as two blessings, or affirming two bodily limbs, or affirming two powers, or affirming two Hands that are neither two blessings, nor two bodily limbs, nor two powers, and are not described
