by the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. We affirm our allegiance to all the other Companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and refrain from discussing the disputes that arose among them. We profess as part of our faith in Allah that the four leaders were upright, rightly guided, and virtuous, with none equal to them in excellence.

We believe all the reports authenticated by the authorities in transmission concerning the descent to the lowest heaven and the Lord, glorified and exalted be He, saying, “Is there anyone asking? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness?” We likewise believe everything else they have transmitted and authenticated, contrary to what the people of deviation and misguidance have said.
