and that nothing, whether good or evil, occurs on earth except what Allah wills; that all things come to pass by Allah’s will; that no one can do anything before Allah, Mighty and Majestic, does it, nor be independent of Allah or escape His knowledge; that there is no creator but Allah; and that the deeds of His servants are created by Allah and decreed by Him, as He—glorified is He—says:
“Allah created you and what you do.” {96} [al-Sāffāt 96]
And that His servants cannot create anything, while they themselves are created, as He—glorified is He—says:
“They create nothing, while they themselves
وأنه لايكون في الأرض شيء من خير ولا شر إلا ماشاء الله وأن الأشياء تكون بمشية الله وأن أحدًا لا يستطيع أن يفعل شيئًا قبل أن يفعله الله عز وجل ولا يستغني عن الله ولا يقدر على الخروج من علم الله وأنه لا خالق إلا الله وأن أعمال العباد مخلوقة لله مقدرة له كما قال سبحانه وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
