Khalīfa, who said: A woman came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said, “Pray to Allah to admit me to Paradise.” He then extolled the Lord and said, “His Kursī encompasses the heavens and the earth, and He does indeed sit upon it, with only four fingers’ breadth to spare”—and he extended his four fingers—“and it creaks like a new saddle when ridden by someone whose weight strains it.”
