hadith is one that even the children of hadith scholars know to be a fabricated lie and a forgery. No Muslim scholar recognized as an authority in hadith has ever transmitted it, nor have they recorded it in any of Islam’s compilations. The learned and upright among them do not consider it permissible to cite such a report without explaining that it is a lie, as established in an authentic report from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said:

“Whoever relates a hadith from me, believing it to be a lie, is one of the liars.”

Whoever rejects those hadiths that have been accepted and invokes such fabrications to refute them has merely followed the path of someone with neither reason nor religion. In doing so, he follows conjecture and whatever his soul desires. He is among those who blindly follow people whose true condition they do not know, as He says:
