that he said:
“A servant’s feet will not move from before Allah, Mighty and Majestic, until he is questioned about his deeds.”
Scholars have also narrated that a man brought a black slave woman to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: “O Messenger of Allah, I wish to free her as an expiation. Would freeing her be valid?”
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked: “Where is Allah?”
She replied: “In heaven.”
He asked: “Who, then, am I?”
She replied: “The Messenger of Allah.”
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Free her, for she is a believer.”
He said: “This indicates that Allah is upon His Throne, above
أنه قال:
«إنّ العبد لا تزول قدماه من بين يدي الله عز وجل حتى يسأل عن عمله»
؛
وروت العلماء أن رجلًا أتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بأمة سوداء فقال:
يا رسول الله إني أريد أن أعتقها في كفارة فهل يجوز عتقها؟
فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:
«أين الله؟»
فقالت: في السماء.
قال:
«فمن أنا؟»
قالت: رسول الله.
فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:
«أعتقها فإنها مؤمنة»

«وهذا يدل على أن الله على عرشه فوق
