Āsim, from Ibn al-Sā’ib, from Saīd ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbās, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said:

“Reflect on Allah’s creation, but do not reflect on Allah’s essence, for between His Kursī and the seventh heaven are seven thousand lights, and He is above that.”

Abd al-Wahhāb al-Warrāq said:

“Whoever claims that Allah is here is a wicked Jahmī. Allah is above the Throne, and His knowledge encompasses this world and the Hereafter.”
