He said, “Free her, for she is a believer.” The statement of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that she was a believer demonstrates that, had she not believed that Allah is in heaven, she would not have been a believer. It also demonstrates that no one qualifies as a believing slave except someone who affirms a limit for Allah—that He is in heaven—as Allah and His Messenger have stated.
