nor limbs nor organs. He has no directions, no right or left, front or back, above or below. No place encompasses Him, nor does time pass over Him. Neither contact nor separation nor indwelling in places is possible for Him. He is not described by any of the attributes of created beings that indicate their having come into existence. He is not described as finite, nor in terms of spatial extent or movement in any direction. He is not bounded; He neither begets nor is begotten. No measures encompass Him, nor do veils conceal Him. The senses do not perceive Him, nor is He measured against human beings. He does not resemble creation in any respect. No afflictions befall Him, nor do infirmities affect Him.
Whatever comes to mind or is conceived in the imagination bears no resemblance to Him. He has always been first, preceding and prior to all that comes into being, existing before created things. He has always been knowing, powerful and living, and will always remain so. Eyes do not see Him, sight does not perceive Him, imaginations do not encompass Him, and ears do not hear Him. He is a thing unlike other things, knowing, powerful and living, unlike those who possess knowledge
