will not leave it, contrary to what has been transmitted from the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace:

“Indeed, Allah will bring some people out after they have been burned in it and reduced to charcoal.”

They denied that Allah has a Face, despite His words—Mighty and Majestic is He:

“And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Possessor of Majesty and Honor (27).” [al-Rahmān: 27]

They denied that Allah has two Hands, despite His words:

“What I created with My two Hands.” ] [Sād: 75]

They denied that He has two Eyes, despite His words:

“Sailing under Our Eyes.” [al-Qamar: 14]

[And His words: “And so that you might be brought up under My Eye (39).”] [Tā Hā: 39]

They denied that Allah has knowledge, despite His words:

“He has sent it down with His knowledge.” [al-Nisā’: 166]

They denied that Allah has power, despite His words:

“Possessor of power, the Firm (58).” [al-Dhāriyāt: 58]
