“And We made him hearing and seeing.” {2} [al-Insān 2]

Second, He said: “And construct the ship under Our Eyes.” [Hūd 37] And He said of human beings: “You see their eyes overflowing with tears.” [al-Mā’idah 83]

Third, He said: “Rather, both His Hands are outstretched.” [al-Mā’idah 64] And of man: “That is for what your hands have sent ahead.” [al-Hajj 10] He also said of Himself: “livestock from what Our Hands have made.” [Yā Sīn 71] And of human beings: “The Hand of Allah is above their hands.” [al-Fath 10]

Fourth, He said: “The Most Merciful rose over the Throne.” {5} [Tā Hā 5] And He said of human beings: “so that you may settle upon their backs.” [al-Zukhruf 13]

Fifth, He described Himself as “the Almighty, the Compeller.” [al-Hashr 23] He also described created beings in these terms. Joseph’s brothers said: “O mighty one!” [Yūsuf 78] And He said: “Thus does Allah seal every heart of an arrogant tyrant.” {35} [Ghāfir 35]
