In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
[Surah al-Falaq (113): Verses 1 to 6]
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
“Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak (1), from the evil of what He has created (2), and from the evil of darkness when it settles (3), and from the evil of those who blow on knots (4), and from the evil of an envier when he envies (5).”

Muslim narrated in his Sahīh, through Qays ibn Hāzim, from ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Have you not heard of verses revealed tonight, the like of which has never been seen: ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak’ and ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind’?”

In al-Tirmidhī’s collection: Qutaybah narrated to us: Ibn Lahī‘ah informed us, from Yazīd ibn Abī Habīb, from ‘Alī ibn Rabāh, from ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Āmir, who said, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed me to recite the two surahs of refuge after every prayer.” Al-Tirmidhī said, “This is a singular hadith.”
