This is not contradicted by the cases of our parents, Adam and Eve, or of the Messiah. Allah, glorified be He, mixed the dust from which Adam was created with water until it became clay, then exposed it to the air and sun until it became like pottery. He then breathed the spirit into him. Eve was taken from him and was a part of him.
The Messiah was created from Mary’s fluid and the angel’s breath. That breath thus served for him the role that a father serves for others.
