and wrongdoing. It is the cause external to the servant, while the cause within him is his love, hatred, and turning away. The Lord, glorified be He, is the Creator of all of this, and it all occurs by His will and power. Had He willed, He would have guided all His creation. The protected are those whom Allah protects, and the forsaken are those whom Allah forsakes.

Surely, His is the creation and the command. Blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds.
