The same applies to Islam in its universal sense. The Most High says:

“They say, ‘None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian.’ Such are their wishful fancies. Say, ‘Produce your proof, if you are truthful.’ Indeed, whoever submits his whole being to God and excels in doing good shall have his reward with his Lord; no fear shall be upon them, nor shall they grieve.”
(Qur’an 2:111–112)

He also says:

“Who is better in religion than one who submits his whole being to God, does good, and follows the creed of Abraham, the upright? God indeed took Abraham as a friend.”
(Qur’an 4:125)

It is authentically reported in al-Ṣaḥīḥ that the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—said:

“We, the community of prophets, share a single religion, and the person most closely related to the son of Mary is I myself, for there is no prophet between him and me.”

For this reason al-Bukhārī entitled a chapter: “Chapter: Reports Concerning the Fact That the Religion of the Prophets Is One.”

وكذلك الإسلام العام قال تعالى: {وَقَالُوا لَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ هُوداً أَوْ نَصَارَى تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ بَلَى مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ وَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ} (سورة البقرة ١١١ ١١٢) . وقال: {وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِيناً مِمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفاً وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلاً} (سورة النساء ١٢٥) . وقد ثبت في الصحيح عن النبي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أنه قال: "إنا معاشر الأنبياء ديننا واحد وإن أولى الناس بابن مريم لأنا إنه ليس بيني وبينه نبي" ولهذا ترجم البخاري على ذلك (باب من جاء في أن دين الأنبياء واحد".
