And since certain portions of prophethood may be granted to individual believers even though such a person is not himself a prophet, it follows that whatever truth these people convey is but one fragment of prophethood, whereas whatever falsehood they put forward must be rejected. It has also become evident that the prophets’ miracles lie beyond all psychic and natural forces in both the celestial and the terrestrial realms. Furthermore, it is clear that God—exalted is He—is the Creator of all things by His will and power, and that He brings into being whatever He pleases through the causes He brings about and for the wisdom He intends.
