Also attributed to him:
61- “When discussion turns to the disputes that arose among my Companions, refrain from speaking; and when it turns to divine decree and predestination, refrain from speaking.”
This report has been transmitted through disconnected chains, and I know of no reliable chain of transmission for it*.

ومنها: ٦١- «إِذَا وَصَلْتُمْ إِلَى مَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِي فَأَمْسِكُوا، وَإِذَا وَصَلْتُمْ إِلَى الْقَضَاءِ وَالْقَدَرِ فَأَمْسِكُوا» .
هذا مأْثورٌ بأَسانيد منقطعة، وما أَعرف له إِسنادًا ثابتًا*.
