32- “They also relate concerning Abraham*, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ⦗71⦘ that when he built the House, he offered a thousand units of prayer at each corner. Allah then revealed to him: ‘O Abraham! Better than this is to satisfy someone’s hunger or cover someone’s nakedness.’”
This is an obvious lie. It is not found in the books of the Muslims**.

** The al-Dār al-Misriyyah al-Lubnāniyyah edition reads: laysa fī kutub al-muslimīn (it is not in the books of the Muslims). The Dār al-Āthār edition reads: laysa huwa fī kutub al-muslimīn (it is not in the books of the Muslims).
[ومنها] (٦) : ٣٢- «وَيَرْوُونَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ* ﷺ ⦗٧١⦘ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا بَنَى الْبَيْتَ صَلَّى فِي كُلِّ رُكْنٍ أَلْفَ رَكْعَةٍ، فَأَوْحَى اللهُ إِلَيْهِ: يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ! أَفْضَلُ مِنْ هَذَا سَدُّ جَوْعَةٍ أَوْ سَتْرُ عَوْرَةٍ» .
هذا كذبٌ ظاهر. وليس هذا من كتب المسلمين**.
