Among them:

22- “Blessing is with your elders.”

It is established in the Sahīh, in the hadith concerning the man killed at Khaybar, that the Prophet said:

“Give precedence to the elder; give precedence to the elder.”

That is, the eldest should speak.

It is also established in the hadith concerning leading the prayer that he said:

“If they are equal—that is, in Quranic recitation, knowledge of the Sunnah, and emigration—then let the oldest among them lead them in prayer.”
